Kim Hillis, CPA Kim Hillis graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. While attending UCA, Kim was involved with Beta Alpha Psi the Accounting Honorary Society and the University chorus. She was employed in restaurant, fireworks and mail service businesses. Kim and her husband, Spencer, moved to the Fairbanks area in September 2003. In January of 2004, Kim joined the staff of Cook & Haugeberg. Spencer was an active duty Air Force member, and was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base until August 2005. At that time, the Hillis's relocated back to Arkansas where Kim continues to work remotely for Cook & Haugeberg. While at Cook & Haugeberg, Kim has gained both audit and tax experience. She has been involved in financial institution, governmental, and several non-profit audits. Kim has performed income tax accounting and preparation for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. In her spare time, Kim enjoys playing her guitar, spending time with family and friends, and teaching her dog, Buzz, new tricks.
